We had a pajama day last week and the boys were hard at work making cupcakes. They did an awesome job. I helped make sure the measurements and everything were accurate, and helped a bit with separating the egg whites ( I like to make them with only the whites...healthier), but other than that, they did almost everything themselves. After they frosted them, they put some on plates and delivered them around the neighborhood (we live all around family). I was so happy with how they worked together to figure out what they needed to do while encouraging each other. We had a good time!!! And hey....for only .59 a box for the mix, and only .39 for the frosting...cant beat it.
(SORRY THE PICTURES ARE NOT IN ORDER...they were in the preview, but not once it posted!?!?)

btw pictures etc..sometimes blogger has a mind of it's own.
Oh wow... what a wonderful time! I bet you were one proud mama! Love the progression of the photos, seeing what they did in order, (it seemed in order to me). My boys love to help cook too, but I have never had them make cupcakes before, we may have to try that idea!
How fun... It looks like they did a great job!
Good job, Kristi, in letting them have this memory tucked under their belts. Sometimes as a mom it is just easier "to do it myself" than to allow the kiddos in on the action.... great post.
So cute....tell them Aunt Lisa is so proud of them....
So sweet. It will be sweet memories for all of you.
