We made it safely to SanDeigo. We left early Saturday morning and arrived by 1 yesterday. It was a pretty smooth drive with the kids by myself. But into Oregon...this TPMS light kept coming on. It has to do with the tire pressure. i stopped and checked all the tires....didn't see any difference...so continued on. Still don't know what...if anything is wrong with the tires. We made it about 1.5 hours south of Stockton....we drove a LONG way the first day. We checked into a Best Western around 11pm. I asked for a room with two beds being that I have 4 children with me. They gave me a room with two beds.....BUT IT WAS ALREADY OCCUPIED. So they switch me to another room as I tote my kids.....we get in...and the room only has one bed. Ughhh. Oh well..it is late and I am tired of toting the kids. I bring EVERYTHING into the room and begin to get settled......took the comforter off the bed to put on the floor for the big boys since there was only one bed. I pulled down the sheets....and there was dark black hair everywhere. Yuck!!! SO I called the front desk..I was very polite....and the told me they would move me yet again. They couldn't just clean the bed. So I asked for two beds like I payed for. Yup we were gonna get two beds they said. We got into the 3rd room.......and it was only ONE bed again..and the lights by the bed did not work right....every time you sat on the bed or walked past, they flickered. Oh well......I was tired by now as it was 1245 by now. I got the kids settled and we went to bed. I got up in the morning to check out.....and they had originally tried to charge me the 2 bed room rate. No way!! I only had a room with one bed...and especially after what we went through. Then I got the kids rounded up and headed to the van........ALL THE WINDOWS WERE HALFWAY DOWN. If you push the unlock button a few times in a row...the windows all come down...just a feature the van has. Sometime that night in the hotel room..Isaac must have pushed the buttons. So the windows were open all night.....Praise the Lord everything was still int he van.....laptop, DVDs, camera....lots of stuff. So we were finally off. What a relief.
I however, am not feeling too well. Yesterday evening I felt really out of sorts....and I still do. I was pretty light headed and dizzy......and today I am just super tired and just don't feel great. I almost feel like I am in a "fog". So it is a lazy day here. Probably just over tired. Dunno. I would appreciate prayers that I will feel better real soon. The boys want brownies...and I promised them...so I am off to get the brownies out of the oven for them

Oh my!! What an amazing story! I can't believe you had that much trouble! What is up with the front desk people?? Do they NOT know which rooms have 2 beds?! I hope you feel better soon...hopefully it's just tiredness from the long drive.
I was starting to think only weird things happen to me! That is so grose especialy the black hair incedent. Your one brave lady I think I would have left after they gave me the hair filled bed! Have great fun with your hubby
