Poor little Isaac has not been feeling well for quite some time now. I took him back in today (for the 2nd time in a week) to see his regular pediatrician....because he had a very rough night...was having trouble breathing...and just did not seem to be getting better. My children's pediatrician is absolutely wonderful if anyone ever needs a doc for their kids. After more testing today, it turns out that our little man has pneumonia.."his right lung is full of it" according to the ped. We are home now with heavy antibiotics and breathing treatments....if he gets worse, he will need to be admitted for IV treatment. I am confident that what we are doing along with staying in close contact with his pediatrician will help his little body heal and we will not need to go to the hospital. Would you please join me in prayer that he heals quickly and completely. He does not like the nebulizer in any way....he cries the whole time....until it is time to take it off...then he is all smiles. Praise the Lord for medicine when it truly is needed!!!!
Poor baby does not like this at all
Update Tuesday morning: He appears to be doing a little better and is eating some now. No matter what the issues with him may be, I have a sense of peace right now. Yesterday....it kinda just threw me for a loop because it was definitely not something I was expecting. Please know that if it were a mass, that does not automatically mean cancer....if it were a mass it very easily could be somthing he inhaled or something else totally different. There are so many possibilities. But you know what.....God already know exactly what it is....whether it be pneumonia or something else. He will have a repeat xray sometime the beginning of next week. If his lungs are better, we are done. If that spot has not improved, that is when they will do further testing.
Update Wednesday morning: Isaac seems to be doing a little better. He at least seems a little more perky. His appointment to check his lungs is scheduled for next Monday at noon. So until then, we have to keep him indoors from the cold air and weather because of the presumed pneuomnia they say.
Update Wednesday evening: We now have 3 out of 4 children with high fevers. Isaac's fever is now gone for the most part...but Tyler, Jacob, and Nathan are all sporting 102+ fevers. Tyler and Jacob have very nastly looking throats.....but all that Nathan has so far is a fever. Tyler has really been complaining of a sore throat and does not want to eat anything. I checked his throat and it is full of puss pockets. Poor guy is miserable. But I am almost certain it is just viral because their cousin had the same thing, got tested for strep, and it was negative. If he gets any worse, we may end up taking him in...but I am really thinking it is just viral. But you know what, I am so thankful that I am able to stay home and take care of them. I am thankful for my husband who works hard and is able to provide an environment for me to be a stay at home mom. The only thing I wish is that I could take away all these poor guys discomforts. All four boys are currently hunkered down in our room sleeping because we only have 1 humidifier and they all need it (our room is the biggest room to put them all in). Praise the Lord though as it could be much worse!! Josh has to leave Friday....so I am hoping and praying that he stays healthy and is not sick when he has to leave.

We are praying here too! I don't know how I missed this post today when checking the blogs...let the peace of God comfort you. It's all in his hands. Let us know too if you need anything.
We just brought little Isaac (and you) to the Lord in the prayer this morning. May He give you the strength that only He can give!
I will definately be praying for little Isaac's health and for you as well. Remember that this would not be the first time that their suspisions about him were wrong. However, the best thing is not count your eggs before they have hatched, rather just trust in Christ knowing that He truly has it all in the palm of His hand. That is a comfort to me in times of trial.
Love you . . .
