My camera is my buddy!!! Not really, but I usually always have it with me or in the car. Very rarely do I not have it in the car or with me. Most people I am close to know that, and often ask me to take pictures. In no way am I a professional photographer, but I sure have got some amazing pictures over the years. I think my favorite so far is when my sweet friend found out her baby had died and she had to deliver it stillborn at term. I had photographed the birth of her first child, and she still wanted photos of this birth. Those pictures were truly priceless and they turned out amazing. Every time I look at them, they just look perfect. I am going to share more about this story later. And although I know I have had no formal training, some pictures have truly turned out amazing. Whether it be spur of the moment where I am thankful I had that camera in the car or planned photos.....I surely have enjoyed having my cameras. It is so fun to be able to look back over years of photos and see such sweet memories. Those memories are priceless. Often those unplanned photos are the most appreciated by myself and others. So I guess I will keep bringing my buddy with me on my daily ventures and capturing sweet memories.

Cute post! I, too bring my camera everywhere. Very rarely do I not have it. That is why I specifically chose one that would fit nicely in my diaper bag. I was even able to fit it in my coat pocket when we went to the symphony - I got some cute pictures of everyone else but forgot to ask someone to take one of Phillip and I. My camera isn't an SLR, but I love it. It is a Canon G9. I am learning on it, and truly love it. That in addition to the editing software - I am feeling like a pro more and more. I may try and take an online photography course here soon. I think it would be fun. I am looking into it for the fall.
That's so good that you keep it with you all the time, that's much better than I do! I don't bring mine that often...but I do have a little digital camera that I throw in my purse more often these days. Sometimes, if I take too many photos in a given month, I end up feeling overwhelemed at the thought of going through them and deciding which ones to print. Does that happen to you when you take a lot?
I love taking pictures in our daily lives. Sometimes I think about how so many before us couldn't have pictures of their babies first steps or going to kindergarden all they had was their memories which for me are fading quickly of the little baby moments I am so thankful for my pictures
Hi, I just found your blog and I'm really glad I did.
I have a little buddy too and it drives my husband crazy; always wanting to stop and snap pictures.
Anyhow, glad I found you and looking forward to seeing some of those amazing pictures.
