We did this the end of last weeek. Earlier than we ever have before....but the lights at night are so beautiful and bright. It adds a beautiful glow to the whole front of our home. I myself could care less about the whole tree in itself...I just love the glow and ligths every evnining and the early morning hours. Nana.....where are your pictures!?!?!

WOW!!!I thought I was bad! Actually, it makes me feel better- we're having thanksgiving at my parents house, so I've been rolling the idea of Christmas decorating this week around in my head. I usually do it the day after thanksgiving, but I'll be doing the church that day. On that note, I've got some boxes to pull out of the closet!!
What a beautiful tree! Every year I think our tree is more beautiful than the ones before! I love the lights, too! There is nooooo way my hubby will get a tree right away!! :) That's ok, I know it will be a battle with our 1 year old, she is persistent!! ;)

Our tree is a pre-lighted one from Costco. 9 ft tall....fits right in the vault of the ceiling. If it were real...there is no way we would have it up now. We have always put it up after Thanksgiving....but this year.....as you can see.....its up!!

You have a beautiful tree. We put ours up today. It is the earliest we have done it since our children were home with us. I just love it. We decided we would do it early from now on. I am like you, I just love the lights, the warm glow that they give off. I have often thought about keeping the lights up year around.lol I want though. Hope you all have a happy thanksgiving.

Pretty tree! Our tree got ruined when our garage flooded...so I get a new one this year. I LOVE the ones at Costco :D
