Have you ever seen construx?!?!

When we were clearing out our garage and sorting through everything, my husband went through a crate that had a munch of his old things. In one of them, he found some of these construx from when he was a kid. they are a building type toy...all the different pieces connect. They were made in the 80's..I remember them as a child. They were well built and sturdy....unlike most things these days Well, our boys just loved them. They were made by fisher price and they dont make them anymore. So you have to find them on ebay, craigslist, second hand stores, and such. A weeks or so ago, I put a wanted ad on craigslist for some. Because on ebay, they often sell for rediculous amounts that we will not pay. Well, a family from Poulsbo responded...and we were able to go buy some from them. A single set on ebay can sell for excess of $50 to $80+..depending on what it is. And a set may have 60 to 80 pieces...sometimes more or less. Well, this family sold us huuuuge load of construx....for only $25. On ebay it probably would have cost us at least a few hundred dollars. Hundreds and hundreds of pieces we got. So...here are our boys playing with their new projects....

Jenny.....I thought of you....I know your boys would love coming over and playing with these. The kids would have a blast. I even had fun playing around with them....
